Challenge

Studium Planetare is a student-led initiative dedicated to exploring interdisciplinary approaches to climate justice. The challenge was to translate this evolving, collaborative programme into a clear and engaging digital presence. The website needed to communicate the mission and curriculum, make course information accessible, and support ongoing engagement from students, educators, and external audiences — all while reflecting the initiative’s values of sustainability, openness, and community.

The project resulted in a responsive public website that provides a coherent, user-friendly overview of the initiative and its offerings. Working closely with a developer and the Klasse Klima team, I defined target audiences, core functionalities, and content requirements. Based on these insights, I created an information architecture with dedicated sections such as About, Curriculum, Calendar, Archive, and Contact, ensuring intuitive navigation and clarity. I developed responsive design mockups and a consistent visual language aligned with the programme’s ecological and collaborative spirit. After implementation, the site was reviewed, tested, and refined with the project team before going live. The final result is a structured, accessible platform that strengthens communication, increases visibility, and supports long-term engagement with the Studium Planetare community.
